GDDL: Gana Digital Driver License

In accordance with Article 41 of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic, the Republic of Gana introduces the GDDL, a fully digital driver license with built-in legal compliance, biometric security, and instant verifiability.

The GDDL is legally valid for international recognition under the Vienna Convention Vienna Convention on Road Traffic , as it satisfies all core requirements of Article 41:

Issuance by competent authority
Identity verification
Medical and age compliance
Verifiable authenticity through public infrastructure i.e. Internet

Foreign inspection authorities are invited to:

Scan the QR on-screen or from a printed GDDL document.
Confirm authenticity via secure government server.
Cross-check citizen ID via embedded digital certificate.
